You have a basic understanding of mental health from your professional or personal experiences. Now you want to learn how to take a strengths-based approach to cultivating a mentally healthy environment where you live, volunteer, work, or play. Join us for this interactive session that will encourage you to tap into your own strengths to lead an authentic, strengths-based conversation to support mental wellness. By the end of this workshop, you will be able to: describe the elements of – and challenge myths about – mental health and mental illness, craft your own narrative of resilience in your wellness journey, use the notice-listen-connect method to support individuals struggling with thoughts of suicide, and initiate a strengths-based dialogue about accessing resources.
Virtual Training Link will be emailed to registrants close to the training date.
